Commercial Photography - Construction

The new Cine UK complex, part of the Eden, High Wycombe shopping and leisure development has provided great opportunities for commercial photography especially with the brightly coloured plasterboard soundproofing system.

 

BDL constructed twin frame cinema partitions using twin rows of Y gauge 90mm Cormet C studs braced horizontally at 3m centres with acoustic V Braces to provide stability.  The wallboard has then been fixed to the partition in multiple plasterboard layers in varying thicknesses of 12.5mm, 15mm and 19mm to achieve the necessary acoustic performance as illustrated in the commercial photography.  The lighting for this architectural photography was available light entering the auditorium from the projection apertures on the back wall along with the fluorescent work lamp - an illustration of the advantage in shooting RAW to allow the adjustment of white balance for architectural photography.
