Construction photography succeeds or fails very often with the level of attention to detail when liaising with design teams, contractors, manufacturers and the site team to ensure that the date and time that we visit is optimum. We have years of experience with coordinating this kind of activity across the broad construction team. One hour can make a huge difference when installations have been covered over. For this reason we will often suggest that once formal permissions have been obtained for us to visit site we liaise with key contacts to fine tune arrangements so that we're on site at the right time. Construction photography can involve attending site at a variety of times throughout the project. We photograph geothermal heat transfer products for clients that require construction photography to be taken when initial excavations are being conducted. Liaison with on site construction teams is key to achieving the best possible construction photography - often involving attendance on site within two hours notice.
Many construction product manufacturers require construction photography of products shot in situ to generate a credible case study or project reference document. Often stuctural products or M&E services installations are installed under, behind or above public areas and require construction photography before the next phase of the project proceeds and hides the installation! It is this appreciation of the process and flexibility in our approach that we have become known for.
