The key consideration is the subtle lighting often achieved by interior designers and architects. To capture the impact and the atmosphere created we will almost always work with available natural light.
Interior photography needs to capture the 'feel' orginally conceived at the design stage and we spend time making sure that we understand areas of emphasis from the design team. Naturally we carry lots of powerful lights for situations for example where sunlight streaming through windows threatens to overpower the interior light balance. Lights can then be useful to rebalance the internal and external light intensities and to prevent details from burning out.
