The structure features a distinct stone look- a- like rainscreen system. The building is 11 storeys high, the top 5 storeys of which are set out as 41 luxury apartments.

Liverpool Mal has a New York gothic-inspired theme and walking through the entrance you are immediately hit with an immense impression of scale as you enter the lobby. An industrial metal staircase leads to the champagne bar, while a fire fountain provides an eye-catching focal point.

The hotel is chic and Manhattan modern, with plum and black decor illustrated in the commercial  photography and architectural photography. There is a  glass private dining room which is integrated into the hotel's main kitchen so diners can watch head chef at work.
