Anyone who can remember visiting the NEC for an event or exhibition and finding themselves having to eat at one of the cafe or restaurants on site as little as two years ago will still shudder. Food outlets that would have embarassed a bus depot were scattered around the NEC halls with very little to entice would be customers. Well all that's changed with the total facelift of the NEC Food brand as illustrated by the commercial photography and architectural photography above. Food outlets are leading edge and contemporary, customer route planning works with few bottlenecks, materials and finish are all top class and built to last and importantly the food is memorable - for all the right reasons ! Refurrbishment budget for six halls was £6M which has probably long since paid for itself.
