Nomony Children's Centre is situated in the Cattedown area of Plymouth and the bright cladding produces striking commercial photography and architectural photography. It is run by the charity NCH and opened in its purpose-built premises in 2006. The centre comprises a day nursery, crèche and a range of other facilities for families, including health and maternity services, job-seekers' advice sessions, parenting classes and toddler groups for travellers and for families with children with additional needs.
It is an Educare unit nursery incorporating a special educational needs co-ordinator and holds the Plymouth Early Years Enhanced Certificate for Quality. It also provides outreach and family support including parenting support, health services for children and families, services for children and parents with special needs and Jobcentre Plus and creates a striking subject for commercial photograhy and architectural photography. The centre works with a range of partners including Plymouth City Council, the local primary care trust and Jobcentre Plus and is funded by Plymouth City Council.
