Borehamwood Travelodge uses a similar construction method as the Heathrow Travelodge as shown in the commercial photography and architectural photography.  The new hotel benefits from raised stilt construction providing brightly lit parking beneath.  The ceder cladding around the often unsightly exterior fire staircase is a triumph especially at night as shown in the commercial photography and architectural photography.  The interior design has made great use of large primary coloured, back lit perspex panels to inject a real sense of fun into public spaces.
