These natural floorcoverings were shot on location in a beautiful converted barn in Kent. The product, similar to Crucial Trading floorcoverings, are manufactured from sisal, grasses, coir and jute and are great subjects for interior architectural photography and commercial photography. This particular floorcovering created an attractive contrast with the dark grey slate flags laid throughout the kitchen diner and throughout the lower level lounge. Textures were emphasised using the sunlight falling on the product along with some carefully selected props with muted shades to avoid any overpowering of the main focal point. Particular attention needs to focused on avoiding moire effect on this form of architectural photography and commercial photography - easily avoided by shooting in RAW and adjusting post shoot.
