Pizza Express in the centre of Cobham is less than four miles from the famous Brooklands racing circuit - the first purpose-built motor racing circuit at Weybridge, Surrey that opened in 1907. Brooklands was the birthplace of British motorsport and in August 1926 the RAC used the venue for the first-ever British Grand Prix. It is this heritage that the interior of the new Pizza Express restaurant is modelled upon with antique steering wheel motif on the green backlit serving area and the large Motor magazine reprints on the walls.
